Benjamin Russell High School

Construction of the new Benjamin Russell High School will begin soon. The City has worked in a collaborative effort with the Alexander City Board of Education (BOE) over the last eight years to help secure this project. The construction of a new high school facility will provide additional opportunities for enhanced training and education of the youth within our community. 

The new high school site is adjacent to the Charles E. Bailey, Sr. Sportplex. Through traffic should avoid the area beyond the softball fields inside the Sportplex while construction is underway. If you have questions concerning this project, please contact the Alexander City Board of Education.
